The Lonesome Guild – Spiral Tower Map & Collectibles Guide

Lonesome Guild is an action-adventure RPG with linear progression in terms of storytelling. However, the game does have some collectibles scattered throughout the maps, as well as side quests that require some backtracking. Luckily, there is a very simple map provided to you for each map; HOWEVER, it provides us with very little information. Not only that, it’s not the kind of map that you take with you; you have to be at the location where the map is for you to look at it.

We will be providing the map that you’ll see in the game, but complete with:

  • side quest locations, needed for Boy Scout, Wandering Hero, and Chosen One
  • Ghosts for Paranormal Activity, The Haunting, Phantasmagoria
(Note: These aren’t available until completing the main story quests and having access to Tallyoh)
  • Memories for Memorabilia, Album of Remembrances, and Honorary Ark (don’t forget that in order to see memories, you’ll need to be in control of Ghost
  • Flowers for Forget-me-not, Loves Me, Loves Me Not, and Ranfiero’s Gardener

Please note that these maps are potentially a work in progress. Let us know if there’s anything we’ve missed!

Spiral Tower Map & Collectibles Guide

Spiral Tower has 4 floors with many winding paths that can easily get confusing. This is the first time that we felt that having the map in front of us while going through it was a godsend. Similar to the last area of Arcolaryum-Trummelporta, it’s primarily linear, with some puzzles and enemies blocking our way. However, going off the beaten path will lead to goodies. Lastly, you’ll immediately notice at the entrance that there is a place on the left side that is not accessible to us because a guard is blocking it. This area will later be available during Mauhen’s side quest: Coming of Age.

Spiral Tower 0

You don’t get access to the map until midway through this floor, so you’re welcome :).

Side Quest

Safe From the Spiral(5): You need to rescue two soldiers in the Spiral Tower. You’ll be able to see this soldier right away, but you’ll need to take the long way around. It’s pretty linear, so you’ll get to him.

Coming of Age: This is a special quest given to you by Mauhen. You won’t be able to accept it until you finish Nunuit’s main story quest lines and you are taken back to your Hub, Barr’Hundu. See our guide for this quest, as well as its accompanying trophy called: Wishing Well.

Golden Chest: Before going down the stairway to rescue the soldier, you’ll get the Key of the Water Room. The door for this room is at the bottom of the stairs, just past the rescued guard.

Ghost: Longing Ghost

You’ll see this ghost right by the map, up the stairs from the rest spot.

You will notice that the general puzzle for Nunuit, especially Nunuit Town and Spiral Tower, asks you to step on these stars in order. Here’s the solution to the entrance to Spiral Tower I.

Spiral Tower I

Similar to Spiral Tower 0, this floor is linear, as everything is locked behind a barrier until unlocked. You’ll see on the map that there is room on the top left-hand side that you don’t have access to yet. You’ll be able to get there later, after the main story quests for this zone. However, we’ve outlined the solution to the puzzle here in order to get the collectible.

Flower

Margentalia: To get to Magentalia, you’ll need to solve a puzzle. You’ll need to figure out the order in which to step on the stars to open the path to the flower. First, you’ll need to control Ghost towards the room on the left and grab the fire on the left side of this room. Walking towards the right barrier, you’ll see a switch to open it.

Then, individually place your three party members on each of the stars.

Lastly, while your party members are standing on the stars, take control of Ghost again and go through the other barrier on the right. This will allow you to see the pattern. Once you’ve memorized it, grab your party members and step on the stars in the order shown.

Heartstrike: This flower isn’t accessible until after the main story quests in Nunuit. You gain access from Spiral Tower 0’s door with a guard standing in front of it. Step on the elevator that leads to Spiral Tower I.

You’ll once again need to solve a puzzle. Take control of Ghost and grab that fire. Make your way up the stairs beside it and follow the path to the end until you see the pattern we need to solve the puzzle.

You’ll soon notice that one of the switches we need is behind a barricade. Make sure you still have Ghost’s  Light activated. Have your party in Wait mode and have Ghost stand so that both switches are visible. Have two party members activate it at the same time.

Once done, the barricade will come down. Now all we need is to step on the stars in the order shown on the pattern. If you attempt to do it like normal, you’ll notice immediately that you don’t have enough time to do so.

So, instead, place each of your three party members beside the stars in Wait mode. Then, in order, take control of them, step on their star, then switch to the next character until all have been stepped on.

Once done, the barrier will finally lift, and the flower is yours!

Golden Chest:

There is another golden chest on this floor that is hidden behind a closed door. To get the key, head past the door that leads to Spiral Tower II and go down the stairs. You’ll quickly see a chest with the key inside.

Once you get the key, head back to the map icon and go up the stairs to its left. Then take the immediate set of stairs down and follow this path. You’ll see the locked door, use the key, and head left once you enter the room.

Following this linear path, you’ll be rewarded with the golden chest containing Shoes of the Wisp that increases your movement speed by 10%!

Once ready, head towards the exit and into Spiral Tower II.

Spiral Tower II

Spiral Tower II, during the first time you go through this, is much smaller and shorter than it looks. We’re only going through the top right portion of the map. However, we’ll outline the items here.

Side Quest

Safe from the Spiral(5): The second guard you need to rescue is in Spiral Tower II and is trapped behind a barrier. In order to take the barrier down, head left and down from the map, and you’ll see Ghost’s fire.

Coming of Age: Mauhen’s side quest which you started in Barr’Hundu, takes you here. However, you enter it through Spiral Tower 0. The full guide is here.

Flower

Witch’s Candelabra: It’s just past the barrier on the left side of the map.

After going through this short floor and its collectibles, it’s time for the last floor: Spiral Tower III.

Spiral Tower III

Much like the last area of Trummelporta, this is essentially the final boss room. There is, however, one collectible: A memory.

However, finishing the main story quest line in Nunuit is just the beginning. Head back to the beginning of Nunuit (obviously following our guide), and collect all the goodies and complete all the side quests you couldn’t before because it was blocked off.
