Users of Controversial Cronus Zen Devices Banned on Battlefield 6

The Cronus Zen, a highly controversial device that can enhance the performance of aiming and speed in video games – particularly shooters – has met another ban hammer, this time with EA’s new mega-FPS Battlefield 6.

The device which allows users to use macros to improve recoil control, accuracy and more for console controllers was seemingly banned through a PlayStation firmware update last year (credit: Windows Central).

Now, keen to avoid a reputation for cheating or exploits in their highly successful new Battlefield entry, EA have quickly moved to disable the ability to use the Cronus Zen and permanently ban players who use the device.

Reddit user U/Automatic_Ad1665 shared this image to Reddit that was picked up by popular Battlefield news X page, Battlefield Intel:

This can only be seen as a win for the Battlefield community. Battlefield 6 so far seems to be fending off cheaters which have plagued it’s competitor, Call of Duty for years. During the Black Ops 7 beta recently, hackers were able to deploy a variety of exploits in the pre-launch build.

So, if you were having a hard time adjusting to the gameplay of Battlefield and were considering a Cronus Zen to help your aim, you might need to think again.
