Silent Hill f is off to a great start with its commercial success. The standalone spin-off which is set in an eerie 1960s Japan has catapulted to one million copies sold, across physical and digital release within its opening 24 hours.
It is a thoroughly deserved sales milestone for a game we said is “survival horror at its best”, whilst saying “its gameplay loop is brutal and unforgiving, while it’s story feels like it’s pushing you deeper into Hinako’s fractured mind” in our full review.

In what will delight publisher, Konami the game still has over a month to go until Halloween which is a popular period for gamers to buy and play something spookier for the creepiest of holidays.
Silent Hill f is also selling faster than last years remake of Silent Hill 2 which we adored on launch, awarding a very rare GSC 10/10.
