During the September 24th State of Play, Sony gave viewers an update on the PlayStation Plus catalog of monthly games, Last of Us Day, and additions to their classics catalog for subscribers.
October 7, 2025
PlayStation Plus subscribers will get three games from some very different genres in October. The line up begins with Alan Wake II just in time for you to get your scare on. Rounding out the line up is Goat Simulator 3 and Cocoon.

Goat Simulator 3 is exactly what it sounds like, be one with the goat, be a goat! Cause chaos as a goat with up to 4 player co-op or enjoy the fever dream that is story mode when you complete quests to go up against the final boss, the farmer.
Cocoon is a puzzle adventure game published by Annapurna games who had their own showing earlier this week.
Last of Us Day
In case you haven’t had enough, Last of Us Day is September 26th and they have now confirmed that The Last of Us II will be part of the game catalog. The Remastered Version will be available for Premium and Extra subscribers. This will also include the roguelike survival mode No Return for those looking for more ways to play.

PlayStation Classics Catalog
The PlayStation Classics catalog gets a few new editions coming soon. For fighting fans Tekken 3 originally on PlayStation and Soul Caliber III from PS2 are making their way to the classics catalog for subscribers to enjoy. Tomb Raider Anniversary also makes it way to the classics catalog soon.
