In case you missed it at the February State of Play or Bandai Namco Summer Showcase, there is a new Digimon RPG coming out in October. This will be the newest entry into the Digimon Story series in ten years and the developers are ready to unveil quite a bit to get fans excited. During the Summer Showcase they stated there would be 450 Digimon available. If you can’t wait to start seeing which Digimon make an appearance, there’s one way to start exploring hands on. Today, Bandai Namco announced the demo for Digimon Story Time Stranger would become available September 10 – 11 depending on your timezone.

There isn’t confirmation just yet if the demo progress will carry over into the main game, but it’s a great way to get a feel for if this is a game for you. Digimon Story Time Stranger promises to be an epic story where you are transported 8 years back and the situation is critical. It’s up to you to find out why the world is collapsing and you’ll have to travel across time and parallel worlds to save the way. Can you change fate for the better?
The demo is also a great way to see what version you may be interested in purchasing. Those who pre-order will also be eligible for bonus packs.
