Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants – Monster's Gate Puzzle Walkthrough

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle's first major DLC has arrived. With The Order Of Giants comes a new adventure for Indy to go out on and of course it comes with it new collectibles, puzzles, achievements and more! But don't worry we have you covered with everything you need. This guide will help you solve the Monster Gate puzzle in order to complete the final puzzle of the game.

All things considered the Monster Gate might actually be the easiest puzzle of the DLC. When you first get to the gate there will be about 10 cultists to defeat. There's plenty of objects around to use as weapons so make use of them and clear the room.

With the enemies defeated you can focus on the puzzle. The first step is to walk up to the gate (it's more like a mural) and put the 3 tiles that have fallen out back in place. No trickery here it's straightforward, the horse legs go on the horse, the snake on the snake and the lion on the lion.

This will open a secret compartment revealing a cog wheel. Take the wheel and put it into the middle stone block behind you in the middle of the room.

Now on the mural you will see that there are Roman numerals under each animal. There are also 4 pillars surrounding the middle block. Each pillar has an animal on it and 4 symbols beneath it which you can rotate. The animals are:

Horse – III
Scorpion – VI
Raven – V
Snake – II

What you need to do is insert the cylinder into the Center and use it to rotate the mural. When the number beneath one of animals needed is at the top remove the cylinder and go up to the mural. Whatever symbol is beneath the animal is the symbol you need to put under the animal on the pillars.

The symbols under each animal will look like the images below.

At least during our playthrough the Raven and Scorpion pillars already had the correct symbols underneath. If this is the case for you then you only need to do the Horse and Snake.

Once all 4 pillars are correct you can take the cylinder piece to the door and insert it. If done correctly the door will open leading you to the final area.
