Hollow Knight: Silksong Price and Release Times Confirmed

It's been years in the making but we all finally get our hands on Hollow Knight: Silksong this week as the game releases Thursday 4 September 2025.

Gamers who attended gamescom in Cologne a couple of weeks ago were able to get their hands on the game for the first time, but after such a long wait - often in complete developer silence - we all can nearly play.

Team Cherry, the small development studio behind the exceptional original Hollow Knight and its sequel have now answered fans questions around pricing and release times via a post on X / Twitter.

Hollow Knight: Silksong pricing

The game will launch at the following price points:

  • USA: $19.99
  • EU: €19.99
  • Japan: Â¥2300
  • UK: A price isn't yet stated on the Xbox, Nintendo and PlayStation stores, nor Steam at the time of posting this article
  • Canada: A price isn't yet stated on the Xbox, Nintendo and PlayStation stores, nor Steam at the time of posting this article

Hollow Knight: Silksong release times

Silksong will be available at the following times globally:

  • North America PT: 7am
  • North America ET: 10am
  • UK BST: 3pm
  • Europe Central CEST: 4pm
  • Japan JST: 11pm

Hollow Knight: Silksong releases 4 September 2025 on just about anything - Xbox One and Series, PlayStation 4 & 5, Nintendo Switch (Nintendo Switch 2 via backwards compatibility) and PC. Silksong also launches Day One into Xbox Game Pass for both consoles and PC.
