The follow up to Squanch Game‘s successful hit, High On Life is back! Wubba-lubba-dub-dub! Clean of some storage space February 13th, 2026 to make some room for High On Life 2.
High On Life 2 takes place five years after the events of the first game. The protagonist is now a famous Bounty Hunter who is called to duty when they realize there is a Bounty on their sister’s head.
In the new 42 minute look at the gameplay, you will get to see what its like to shoot “sheath”. Sheath is a battle Rifle, (kinda? I mean, its alive with a soul. So I don’t know how to describe it.) that shoots needles similar to the needler in Halo.
We also get a glimpse at how traveling around on a skateboard looks. Let me tell ya, it looks like it adds a whole new level of speed to the shooter.
Steam’s description of the sequel reads, “An intergalactic conspiracy threatens the fate of humanity! Team up with a wide cast of talking alien guns as you shoot, stab, and skate your way through the exotic locales to take down the bad guys and save your favorite species (humans)!”.
The whole voice acting cast from the first game is set to return for the sequel. Ralph Ineson will be joining the cast to play the new gun Sheath.
High On Life 2 Releases on February 13th, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, and drops on Xbox Game Pass Day One.
