All Calicorn Locations
Chapter One ( 3 To Find)
1.
At the beginning of the game, right after approaching the car with its alarm going off, you’ll see streetlamps lighting up broken fences. Follow the tracks through these gaps.

You’ll reach a fenced-in area that can only be entered by a wooden ledge. Drop down and head towards the creature wandering around.

Don’t worry, it’s a Calicorn that has gotten a bucket stuck on its head. It will bump into a tree, knocking a branch from it. Pick up the branch.

The Calicorn will stop wandering around and wait for you to help it.

Now you can tame and name your first Calicorn!

2.
The next Calicorn is found after the first section with traffic cones. Your first Calicorn will run over to a fence with a ledge next to it that you can vault up.

Run down to the other end, and you’ll see the trapped Calicorn run into some trash to hide. Head back up towards the gate and approach the blue bar to push it open.

Your Calicorn will head down to coax the scared Calicorn out of its shelter.

Once it emerges, you can tame and name your second Calicorn!

3.
The third Calicorn, and last for this chapter, is very close by. There is an adjacent area that has small stacks of rubbish scattered across it. In the corner is the Calicorn.

You can’t reach the Calicorn without knocking over some trash (who put these up?), startling it. The Calicorn will run, but won’t get far.

Just approach it after it has stopped running to tame and name it. That’s three Calicorns, unlocking the Making Friends achievement!
Chapter Two (2 To Find)
The fourth and fifth Calicorns are both found at the first campfire site you find midway through the 2nd chapter, inside a train depot.

4.
When you reach the train depot, you want to push the trolley with the help of your herdling.

Run around and up the stairs to jump across the trolley to the other platform, and interact with the lever to raise the gate blocking the trolley. (You can see the fourth Calicorn through a hole in the wall)

Go back and push the trolley as far into the train depot as you can. This creates a path to jump into the next room.

Here, you’ll spot the Calicorn, which needs healing, indicated by the red on its fur. Hop up the ledge and grab some food from the plants.

Feed the Calicorn to heal it, which then lets you tame and name it!

5.
Right after taming the fourth Calicorn, turn around to see a wall that can be pushed by you and your herdling. Approach it, and your new addition will help lower the wall for the rest of your Calicorns to come through.

Head out of this room into the main depot area and to the back of the building, where there are a couple of railcars.
Keep an eye out for tracks in the dirt, and look in the bushes next to a railcar to find a Calicorn hiding.

Grab some food from the nearby plant and leave it on the floor in front of the bushes. This will lure the Calicorn out of hiding.

While the animal is occupied with eating, approach it to tame and name it!

Chapter 3 ( 3 To Find)
6.
The sixth Calicorn is only a few minutes into the third chapter, the Autumn Forest, and is impossible to miss. You’ll be close when you get to the road.

At the end of the road, there is a fallen tree that you and your herdling can push out of the way. But it is blocked by some large cement pipes. Fortunately for us, a wild Calicorn is on the other side of the tree and is on our wavelength.

After they have cleared the pipes out of the way, you can push the tree to clear the path forward. Now you can tame and name your 6th Calicorn!

7.
The next Calicorn is found soon after the last one, after a bit more wandering and stampeding through the forest. You’ll spot this one on the edge of a cliff, framed by a gorgeous view. (Were they taking in the vista, or waiting for you?)

Walk up to it, and the cliff will give way. The Calicorn will slip and need your help. Follow the button prompts on screen, and you will pull the Calicorn to safety.

The Calicorn is safe, but in need of healing. Feed it some food from the nearby bus, and it will be ready to be tamed and named!

8.
You’ll find the eighth Calicorn after sleeping at the campfire site. A cut scene will play, showing a Calicorn breaking through a wooden barrier, only to be attacked by a giant, terrifying bird.

After the cut scene, grab some food from a nearby bush and feed the wounded Calicorn.

Once it is healed, the Calicorn will be happy to be tamed and named!

Chapter 4 ( 1 To Find)
9.
This Calicorn is found at the very beginning of chapter four, the Foothills, at the ferry crossing.

Call one of your Calicorns to give you a boost to the left of the dock, and interact with the lever to turn on the ferry system.

The ferry still isn’t moving. You need to hop back down and push the other gear into place, with help from your herdling, of course.

This gets the ferry moving, and it will move to the dock, lowering a bridge so you and your herdling can board. But there just so happens to be a Calicorn waiting on the ferry! (How long have they been stranded there?!)

Nothing else to do but tame and name them!

Chapter 5 (2 To Find)
10.
Some way into the fifth chapter, the Mountain Plains, you will reach a tall, spiraling ruin. To the right of it is an enclosed area where the 10th Calicorn is waiting.

Look for a small path leading into this area and go down it to find a high ledge.

Call a Calicorn over to help you up the ledge and follow the path around.

You will find the Calicorn standing opposite a statue with a Calicorn adorned with a harness. Time to tame and name it!

If you have tamed all of the Calicorns so far, you will unlock the A Good Bunch achievement!

11.
Later on, you will be guiding your herdling up the side of a mountain peak, when you will spot some of the stick totems that alert the giant birds from Chapter 3, the Autumn Forest. Soon after, a Calicorn will come running towards you and hit one of the totems.

You’ll want to grab some food from the nearby gushes to heal the Calicorn.

Once they are better, you can tame and name your 11th Calicorn!

Chapter Six (1 To Find)
12.
The twelth and final Calicorn to find is in Chapter 6, Glacier Valley.
After gathering up your herdling at the beginning of the chapter, you’ll push over a wall to clear your path to some giant ruins.

Once inside the ruins, you’ll notice to other exits on either side. Leave through the left one and head towards the other set of ruins.

When you get close to the other ruins, keep your eyes peeled for a gohstly Calicron apparition.

Stop your herdling, and approach the ghost. It will walk away and it wants you to follow it.

The little spirit will lead you to a larger Calicorn in need of healing. Climb the nearby ledge and grab some food from the bushes.

Feed the Calicorn to heal it, and it is ready to be tamed and named! We don’t know the story between the spirit and the last Calicorn you find, but it adds a bittersweet note to this one.

If you have followed this guide and tamed all the Calicorns, the The Herd Is Gathered achievement should pop.

Congratulations! You have tamed all 12 Calicorns and unlocked the Making Friends, A Good Bunch, and The Herd Is Gathered achievements!
