South Of Midnight – Took ’em Down A Peg Achievement Guide

South of Midnight, the latest game from Compulsion Games is out now. While the achievements in the game are fairly straightforward and are centered around completing the game and finding all the collectibles, a few are combat-related. To help on that end, this guide will help you unlock the Took ’em Down a Peg achievement.Â

How To Complete

The description for this one can be a bit confusing, so hopefully this helps out. In order to obtain Took ’em Down a Pe,g you need to use the Cleansing Rend attack, holding down Y to defeat 10 enemies, with a catch. You will need to unlock this in the upgrades menu first, but it is one of the earlier attacks you can get.Â

What’s tricky about this achievement is that you must defeat multiple enemies with the attack. The attack hits a fairly wide area, but you will need to have multiple enemies close in order for you to get credit, and they also must have low enough health that the attack will defeat them. The attack itself has a lengthy cooldown, so you can’t spam it.

Your best chances for success are to get multiple enemies low on health and then let them swarm you as best you can, then quickly hold down Y and defeat them. The good news is that as long as you defeat more than 1 enemy, you will get credit for however many you did defeat. Meaning if you defeat 3 with the move, you will get credit for 3, but only defeating 1 will not count. As mentioned, you need 10 total for the achievement.Â
