Everything We Know About Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 So Far

Its Gamescom week and a lot of new info is dropping about the new Call of Duty Black Ops 7! The new trailer that dropped during Opening Night Live wasn’t the only thing we got, we also got a big deep dive in to Black Ops 7.

Call of Duty Direct

The big new addition to Black Ops 7 is the 4 player co-op campaign. Where you and your friends play as 4 different characters that each add their own unique vibe to the story. The map changes based off of that characters fear, so who knows what kind of fear driven narratives the story will take us down.

The campaign map is similar to what we have seen from DMZ or Warzone. Its called the endgame and it features mini-missions and open world activities. Previewers who went hands on with it compared it to Diablos open world.

Everything you see below are all the new features in Black Ops 7.

  • 16 new 6v6 maps
  • The Wall Jump: A new addition to Omni-movement where you can wall bounce off a wall.
  • (campaign mechanic) you can now minimize fall damage with a combat roll.
  • Campaign/Multiplayer cross-progression
  • Classic Prestige System
  • Carry forward:All progress from Black Ops 6 goes in to Black Ops 7.
  • 4-player campaign co-op
  • Unlock challenges return: tying attachment and weapon unlocks to weekly challenges you can customize.
  • New 20v20 mode: Skirmish features 2 larger maps with vehicles and side objectives.
  • Zombies: It’s back and it’s round-based
  • Dead Ops Arcade: It’s a twin-stick shooter with both top-down and side-scrolling perspectives.
