The second batch of games to hit Xbox Game Pass this month has been announced, bringing a mix of big and small titles. Certain titles were already known to be dropping in the second half of August, but now we have the full lineup, courtesy of the Xbox Wire!

- Blacksmith Master (Game Preview)(PC) – Available Today

- Goat Simulator Remastered (Xbox Series X|S) - August 20 (Out Now on Game Pass Standard)
- Persona 4 Golden (Cloud, Console, and PC) - August 20
- Herdling  (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) - August 21
- Gears of War: Reloaded (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) - August 26
- Dragon Age: The Veilguard (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) - August 28
7 titles will be added to Xbox Game Pass from today, starting with Blacksmith Master and Void/Breaker, which are available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. JRPG fans can look forward to enjoying the definitive edition of one of Atlus’ most popular titles, the world-renowned Persona 4 Golden, joining Game Pass Ultimate, Standard, and PC on August 20th.
Of course, it’s the Day One launches on Xbox Game Pass that most people are excited to see! Kicking off with Herdling, an atmospheric adventure where you guide a herd of shaggy beasts on a beautiful, alpine journey. Herdling charges onto Game Pass PC and Ultimate on August 21st.
And finally, Gears of War: Reloaded, a remaster of the blockbuster first entry in the GOW series, powered using Unreal Engine and fully optimized for the latest generation of gaming platforms. Join Marcus, Dom, Baird, and Cole when Gears of War: Reloaded arrives on Game Pass Ultimate and PC on August 26th, with all post-launch content and a bonus campaign act, multiplayer maps, plus characters and cosmetics.
Those are the last games coming to Xbox Game Pass in August 2025. Be sure to check back in September for the next Game Pass drop, and don’t forget that these titles are leaving the service on August 31st.
