Just in case it wasn't obvious enough, Xbox Games Studios games are going truly multiplatform. Gears of War on PlayStation, all core titles Day One on PC and a limited number of games releasing on Switch before now.

Confirmed today by Bethesda, the latest big game to make the jump to a new platform has been confirmed to be the excellent Indiana Jones and the Great Circle which will release on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026:

Personally, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle just pipped Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown to be my 2024 GOTY, it truly is wonderful. I was delighted that PlayStation 5 gamers were able to get their hands on the game earlier this year - with some glossy PS5 Pro enhancements, and now I'm equally delighted Switch 2 owners will also have the privilege.

There is currently no mention pf whether the Switch 2 version of the game will include the DLC, nor whether a copy of the game will be a Game-Key Card – I’d hedge your bets that it will be given the size of the games files.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle DLC

DLC for the game, The Order of Giants is in development and arrives next month. We now have a new look:

The DLC will take us back to Rome and its hidden depths. The Order of the Giants will set Indy on a path against the "sinister plots of Emperor Nero and his gladiator games, the enigmatic Cult of Mithras, and whatever else lurks in the shadows."

The DLC releases September 4 2025 and is part of the Premium Edition of the game. The DLC is not included in Game Pass.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle launches in 2026 on Switch 2. The game is already available on PC, Xbox Series X/S (and included in Game Pass) and PS5.
