During the Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025 pre-show, we got a new look at Absolum.
Absolum is an original roguelite beat’em game in development by Guard Crush, Supamonks and DotEmu. The trailer ends with a release date reveal. Absolum will launch on October 9th 2025 on PC, PS4, PS5, and Switch.

During the trailer, we also got a sneak peek at a new playable character, The Frog Mage. He looks to have more ranged attacks that use magic, and he can use his tongue as a weapon as well. This now brings the total to four playable characters so far, each having a different move set and powers.
Absolum is shaping up to be DotEmu’s next big hit! From the creators of TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge and Streets of Rage 4, this upcoming action-packed fantasy brawler brings fast-paced combat, epic co-op gameplay, and a powerful soundtrack to the world of Talamh.
The Absolum demo is live now on Steam, giving players an early chance to fight through enemies and explore the fantasy setting before launch.
