Metal Eden Release Date and New Trailer

Reikon Games have confirmed that after a delay from the original May release date, Metal Eden will finally be coming out in less than a month. The promising science fiction shooter that has vibes of games like Ghostrunner will launch on September 2 2025.

Following a promising meaty demo which we featured on the June issue of the Gamer Social Club Demo Disc, it's a title we have been watching closely.

Metal Eden release date trailer

To celebrate the announcement of the release date, we have a very techno trailer that showcases some of the games story and high-octane shooting action.

In the game we play as a Hyper Unit, Aska, who is tasked with rescuing the "˜cores' of the citizens of futuristic city, Moebius. From the demo we played and the new release date trailer, it looks like Reikon are focusing heavily on the story and lore in the title.

Metal Eden features Titanfall-like parkour, plenty of shooting action and a dose of melee takedowns. As Aska we will take on a range of mecha troops and elemental forces. Between shooting sections Metal Eden lets us traverse cybperunk-style Moebius in a variety of exciting ways.

It's been a big year for publisher Deep Silver, as Metal Eden follows up one of the years biggest hits, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II which we praised highly, which itself has DLC to come.

Metal Eden releases September 2 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC (Steam) on September 4 2025. Players can wishlist on their chosen platform now. Stick with Gamer Social Club for more updates.
