GoldFire Studios is almost ready to launch their latest title. After 5 years of development the studio has announced a release date for Artic Awakening, its new first person narrative adventure game set in Alaska.
Releasing September 18th for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X Arctic Awakening looks to grip players with its story and setting. While doing a routine supply drop in Alaska, Kai and Donovan, 2 experienced pilots, let their guard down for just a moment. Suddenly they find themselves in a storm that splits the plane in 2 and sends it hurdling to the ground.
Players will take control of Kai as he quickly realizes he’s in a lot of trouble. Donovan is missing, the temperatures are already low and only dropping further and you are stuck with an unwanted robot companion, known as Alfie, as your only friend. Kai will be tasked with finding his co-pilot and get to safety despite the elements. All while exploring the origins of the catastrophic storm that brought them down from the mysterious items buried under the snow.





The adventure is fully voiced by some heavy hitters in the industry. Voice Director Julian Kwasneski (LucasArts, Telltale, Firewatch) and Narrative Consultant Evan Skolnick (LucasArts, Marvel, Telltale) lead a stellar cast. Jason Maniccia, Alejandro Saab, Dave B. Mitchell, Cia Court, and Mara Junot also join the stellar cast as they bring the game to life.
