Lego Voyagers Gets A September 2025 Release Date

Lego Voyagers was announced at Summer Game Fest this year and now we finally have a release date. This game is the spiritual successor to Lego Journey and is developed by Annapurna Interactive. Annapurna Interactive is the team behind Stray, Outer Wilds, and more.

Lego Voyagers is a co-op based adventure where you and a friend will journey (pun intended) to complete puzzles and platforming challenges. Like Split Fiction, you will need to have a friend to play along with. Thankfully, this game has taken a page out of Hazelight Studio’s book and is offering a friend pass. So whoever you want to play with can join in for free.

Lego Voyagers is about two friends who embark on a mission to rescue an abandoned spaceship. The game aims to help teach the value in friendship and the “value of being connected”.

On Lego Voyagers about page, you can find this nifty bullet point on what you can expect from the game.

  • Experience what it feels like to be a LEGO brick. Tumble, jump, snap together, and build your way through rich brick worlds.
  • Unravel a poetic, nonverbal narrative, set in beautiful brick-built environments, supported by an atmospheric soundtrack.
  • Cooperatively solve the game’s many challenges and discover how two bricks are better than one. Play locally on the same screen, or online.
  • Invite a friend to join your adventure for free with the Friend’s Pass. As long as one of you owns LEGO Voyagers, you can both play the full co-op experience together.

Lego Voyagers is set to release September 15th, 2025 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
