Glasgow Indie Game Fest 2025: Everything Shown at the Launch Showcase

The Glasgow Indie Game Fest 2025 is live and Gamer Social Club is here to cover as much as we can. We were lucky enough to be invited to the launch event where they showed off a showcase of titles at the festival.

As is tradition, we’ve pulled together a showcase summary of the titles shown, check them all out below!

Glasgow Indie Game Fest 2025 – Launch Showcase

Skull Horde (PC)

Skull Horde is an auto battler dungeon crawler where you play as a flying skull necromancer. Find powerful loot and create overpowered builds. Summon a horde of skeletons in a battle of bone versus flesh!

A demo is available.

Reality Drift (PC)

Reality Drift is a roguelike racing game where your choices matter. Race through a series of strange worlds, choose upgrades for your car and decide which track will be next – your decisions are just as important as how you drive!

It’s aiming to release in Q1 2026. A demo is available now.

HarleQuest! (Dreamcast)

HarleQuest! is a tough-as-nails roguelike with technical combat, randomised dungeon layouts and tons of weapons and loot! Combat encounters require precise control and care, enemies lurk around every corner and bosses guard your only exit.

Into the Restless Ruins (PC, PS5, Switch, Xbox Series)

A roguelike deckbuilder where you create the dungeon you fight through. Each night use your cards to expand the ruins then battle through them, harvesting Glimour from the lost souls and improving your deck. Can you reach The Warden and defeat it, so The Maiden will grant your heart's desire?

The released on 15 May 2025. A demo is available.

Ball x Pit (PC, Switch 2, Xbox Series)

BALL x PIT is a brick-breaking, ball-fusing, base-building survival roguelite. Batter hordes of enemies with ricocheting balls and gather the riches of the pit to expand your homestead, generate resources and recruit unique heroes.

It releases on 15 October for PC and Xbox Series. Switch 2 version is planned for this year. A demo is available now.

Agent Squidge (PC)

Take the role as the best of the worst to infiltrate an evil corporation, in this physics based stealth game! In Agent Squidge, 1-2 players will be set the task of infiltrating a corrupt and malicious company to steal incriminating data! Solve puzzles whilst avoiding snitching office workers and security!

Pool 2 (PC)

Gather your friends and get ready for a chaotic twist on pool! No more waiting for your turn, each player controls a cue ball, and shots are taken in real-time! Play up to 4 players on wacky pool tables in this physics-based party game!

It’s out now, and a demo is available too.

Cult of PiN (PC)

Cult of PiN is a Roguelike Pinball game where the tables are possesssed and it’s your job to destroy them, repeatedly. Complete missions, equip upgrades and pull off trick shots to trigger devastating special attacks. Bumper-smashing fun all round.

Crunda (PC)

Leap, dive and slam your way across the asteroid belt in this unique physics speedrunning platformer. Explore the mysteries of Crunda’s wobbly whimsical world or challenge your friends to tackle the world record table!

I Write Games Not Tragedies (PC)

An emo-inspired narrative rhythm game exploring growing pains, addiction, romance and music. Scream with Ash as he makes the transition from baby bat to elder emo, guide him through his growing pains, and help him navigate his dirtbag life through music.

Ritual of Raven (PC, Switch)

Ritual of Raven is a story-based farming sim – but you don't do the farming yourself! Enchant Arcana Constructs to grow a magical herb garden, befriend a cute bunch of weirdos and use your witchy skills to perform powerful rituals to stabilize the portals that are causing trouble for the village.

It released on 7 August 2025. A demo is available now.

Shards Between Us (PC)

With their family and home on the brink of collapse, two magical sisters must find a way to grow together. Join their coming of age journey in this healing, heartfelt head-scratcher.

Give Up the Ghost (PC)

Give up the Ghost is a point-and-click roleplaying game set in Forde, a tortured city in the middle of the plains. It is a dialogue-based roleplaying game set in a strange city at the center of the world. Assume the role of Overseer Alhart, a one-eyed wanderer tasked to investigate a grim and prophetic fire. You'll explore the weird, haunted corridors of the city Forde, and in your search for answers "” you will come to know the heart of the city as well as your own.

The Wide Open Sky is Running Out of Catfish (PC)

A story-driven photography game… on the back of a giant, flying catfish! Transform clouds into sea creatures and bring abundance back to an empty sky!

It’s aiming to release by the end of 2025. A demo is available now.

Faceminer (PC)

Build a biometric data harvesting empire from scratch in FACEMINER, the hardcore thriller clicker set in 1999. Classify data, upgrade mining infrastructure, and scale up your A.I. surveillance empire to obscene ends in this creepy narrative-driven incremental management sim with a dystopian twist.

Ginger (PC)

Kevin wants to know what home is, so he writes a novella within a dictionary. Welcome to the unbeatable home.

Playhead (PC)

Playhead is a puzzle-platformer based inside a media player that uses the familiar timeline ui to manipulate time and progress through the levels.

How a Body Sounds (GameBoy Colour, PC)

How A Body Sounds is a lore-rich, experimental exploration game for gameboy color. It is based on psychogeographical explorations of real world spaces. The stones of the town resonate at the sound of a hollow hand. The Unmake is near, the fissures dilate. Quick, new chants are needed.

The Shaman, the Outsider and the Diet of Worms (PC)

An experimental storytelling piece, where the player is presented with several in-universe materials, based around the book The Shaman, the Outsider, and the Diet of Worms. It’s up to them to decide who’s telling the truth, and if there’s even a truth in the first place.

Asterism (PC)

Immerse yourself in the cosmic symphony of Asterism – a playable indie-rock concept album set in outer space. Follow astronaut Ruby as she embarks on an emotional journey of self-discovery through a stunning, hand-crafted solar system, unlocking a playable music video with each planet you explore.

Daemonologie (PC)

A short folk horror story about the Scottish witch trials. You play the role of a witch finder. Speak to the locals and sort their truths from their lies. On the last morning a witch must hang, best you know who by then.

Cairn: Nather's Curse (PC)

When an ancient conspiracy threatens the land of Albaness, only one boy and his dreams stands between his family and the end of the world.

The Honours Project (PC)

The Honours Project is an autobiographical walking simulator. Enjoy a narrative experience, adventuring through dream-like levels, solving an occasional puzzle and listening to the dark and sometimes comical dialogue that acts as a commentary about being a student and game development.

Farewell North (PC, PS5, Switch, Xbox Series)

Play as a border collie and restore color to your human's world in an atmospheric journey through the northern isles of Scotland. Explore land and sea, uncover hidden paths, herd animals and free wildlife to bring color back to her world, while revealing an emotional story about saying farewell.

Rainy Day Racer (PC)

3D time-attack motor racing in a city in Scotland where it rains like a bastard.
