Hell Is Us, the upcoming 3rd person action/adventure game developed by Rogue Factor and published by Nacon, is set to launch on September 4th, 2025. With less than a month before the game’s full release, the developers have announced that a demo for the game will be available from August 12th, across PC(Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles.
The demo, which lets players experience the opening sequence and tutorial area of the game, was available to try originally during Steam Next Fest back in June of this year, but was only available on PC(Steam). With Hell Is Us going gold at the beginning of July, and its full release fast approaching, the devs have seen fit to give all prospective players a chance to visit the fictional war-ravaged Hadea and face the supernatural entities brought about by the “Calamity”.

The announcement was made via the developers’ social media accounts, with the final reveal taking place on Tuesday, August 5th. It would also appear that the Hell Is Us demo will now run in 4K at 60 FPS, which the dev team has stated is available across all platforms. Unfortunately, there has been no clarification on whether progress made in the demo will carry over to the game’s full release.
The Rogue Factor team had been teasing this reveal with something reminiscent of a game of hangman, but they didn’t seem to wait too long to break the news to fans.
Nope. Didn't forget.

For those who may have missed this title, Hell Is Us is a grim, 3rd-person sci-fi action/adventure game where players play as Remi, a man who has returned to his wartorn homeland to find his parents. Wielding weapons and assisted by a drone of alien origin, and with no map, compass, or quest markers to show the way, players can look forward to a mix of intense melee combat with a tactical edge, along with player-driven exploration. Speaking with survivors you find across Hadea will give Remi more information about certain locations, people, etc, giving the player more options for dialogues and avenues of investigation.

The Standard edition of Hell Is Us, which is just the base game, is set to be priced at £44.99 GBP / $49.99 USD on PC, and at £49.99 GBP / $59.99 USD on consoles.
