At today's Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase (read our recap of all the games you may have missed), Ubisoft shared more information on Star Wars Outlaws Switch 2 release which is scheduled for later this year.
Previously released on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC, the first ever Star Wars open world adventure arrives on Switch 2 on September 4, so not long to wait.
For the Direct, we were treated to a new developer featurette:
Massive Entertainment are working with Ubisoft on the Switch 2 release. The new version of the game will take advantage of the Switch 2's unique control options including touch screen puzzles and more.
The release is the Gold Edition version of the game which includes the game and the Season Pass, which features extra story content and more
Personally, Star Wars Outlaws was one of my favourite games of last year. It was flawed and had issues with some of its stealth mechanics, but it was fun and told a good Star Wars story.
Star Wars Outlaws releases on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 4, pre-orders are now open on the Nintendo Store.
The next big Star Wars game in the works is Star Wars Zero Company, a single-player tactics game by Bit Reactor which will launch in the future.
