The much anticipated return of the Mafia franchise is just over a week away, as Mafia: The Old Country releases on 8 August 2025.
With mere days until players venture to Sicily, 2K Games have released the story trailer with a Sicilian dub and shared global release times.
Mafia: The Old Country – “Loyalty is Everything” story trailer (Sicilian dub)
The trailer is the same story trailer that debuted in English at Summer Games Fest. The story trailer brings the Torrisi crime family’s story to life with the language of the Italian region.
Earlier this summer we were treated to 9 minutes of Mafia: The Old Country gameplay, where we got to see driving, stealth sections, shooting and more. The biggest change for the new Mafia title is the removal of an open world as The Old Country opts for a linear experience.
In contrast to many modern video games the game went gold in June, almost 2 months ahead of launch. We may still see a day one patch but there’s no news on that available at present.
Mafia: The Old Country global release times
