Elden Ring Nightreign Duos Mode Delayed

The hotly anticipated Elden Ring Nightreign duos mode has been delayed.

The news comes in an announcement from the Elden Ring social media, confirming that the latest patch for the popular spin on the Elden Ring franchise will be coming later than originally anticipated.

The new mode, part of the ‘Elden Ring Nightreign Patch 1.02’ was due to go live today (30 July 2025). Instead it will now release a day later, on 31 July at 1am PT / 4am ET / 9am BST / 10CEST.

The delay comes as a result of the recent earthquake, which measured 8.8 on the Richter scale (the 6th largest earthquake on record). This has led to tsunami warnings, and people across the Pacific have been advised to evacuate, including Hawaii, Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Guam, Peru, and the Galapagos Islands off Ecuador.

FromSoftware also confirmed that the return of the EverDark Sovereign will also be delayed until after the latest patch has gone live. Though they did not state when that would be.

Of course, people’s safety comes first, and we hope everyone affected manages to stay safe.
