R.I.P. Rockstar Games Social Club

Rockstar Games Social Club has been around for 13 years now and has served as a hub to GTA 5 users. It was used for joining and creating Crews in Grand Theft Auto, sharing custom content like races and missions, and accessing the GTA Online stock market.

If you’re worried about your old crew disappearing, rest assured; you can still access it in-game. However its the Rockstar Games Social Club‘s dedicated website is down as of right now. If you attempt to visit the website, you will be redirected to Rockstar Games’ main home page.

videotechuk from NaughtyNDC pointed this out on X. He also went on to say this in the thread, “Social Club was incredibly outdated with more cases of crews being hijacked, accounts being targeted easily. They’re most likely finally working on a new platform ready for GTAVI.”

With no statement from Rockstar regarding this, the possibility of them coming out with a replacement feels high as videotechuk pointed out. Things like game progression can be found on Rockstar’s website. So maybe we start to see them become one and the same? Only time will tell.

GTA 6 is allegedly only a year away. I’d put money down that they will inform you all about their new social platform once they go more in depth on features in the game.

Games Social Club is gone. However we do know for sure that Gamer Social Club will be here to keep you updated on everything GTA related going in to the future. Be sure to like and follow us on your favorite social media site. Let us know in the comments if Games Social Club is something you have used lately or if its something you are going to miss.
