Set 300 years after Ghost of Tsushima, the highly anticipated follow up, Ghost of Yotei launches in October. In Ghost of YÅtei follow Atsu, a mercenary thirsty for revenge. Travel through northern Japan while hunting down those who killed her family sixteen years prior. While Atsu has had to wait sixteen years for revenge, you won’t need to wait that long to get your hands on a copy for your PlayStation 5. In fact, Sucker Punch announced on their Twitter account that Ghost of YÅtei pre-orders for all editions are now open.
All three versions of the game are now available for pre-order. Keep in mind that unfortunately these will not come with physical editions of the game. The standard edition, as expected, comes only with the game. For those who want to opt to purchase the digital deluxe edition, you’ll also receive:
- The Snake Armor
- Digital Deluxe Armor Dye
- Digital Deluxe Horse and Saddle
- Sword Kit
- Early Unlock for Traveler’s Maps
- Charm
For those big spenders, the Collector’s Edition is available for pre-order. Unfortunately, for those hoping for a physical copy of the game, Ghost of YÅtei, even the collector’s edition, will only come with a digital copy of the game. At the price of $249.99 USD, this edition will come with some physical merchandise for those interested.
While the digital items will be the same as the digital deluxe edition, but those who pre-order will also receive pre-order content of a mask for in-game use and a PSN Avatar set. The physical items players can expect to receive are:
- Ghost Mask
- Sash
- Tsuba – a hand guard on a Japanese sword
- Papercraft Ginkgo tree
- Art Cards
- Zeni Hajiki coin game and pouch
While this may not be the full collectors edition many where hoping for, it is within the theme of Ghost of YÅtei. Worth note is that the PlayStation store does state there is a limit of 1 per order on the collector’s edition. If you’re someone who is looking forward to all of these items, now is definitely the time to get your order in.
