PowerWash Simulator 2 Gameplay Trailer Shows Off Big Additions

FuturLab is looking to take PowerWash Simulator 2 to new heights, both figuratively and literally. After the success of the first game many wondered how they could possibly top it. Clearly their answer to that has been by going bigger and crazier than ever before.

Today the studio released a new gameplay trailer to show off the sequel, and while it has a lot of what you have come to expect from the franchise, they also showed off some new gadgets to play with. Most of these gadgets include taking things to soaring new heights. It looks like we will be washing tall buildings, roller coasters and much more.

This is on top of all the current things we know. PWS2 will feature 38 jobs in its career mode and will feature both split-screen and online co-op.

We still don’t have a firm release date on PowerWash Simulator 2. All we know for now is that it will becoming late 2025 and it is coming to Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 5 and PC.

New Features

  • Abseiling: Strap into your harness and take a ride on the mechanised pulley or ProRise AE-300, smoothly moving up and down walls and structures, taking vertical and horizontal cleaning control to thrilling new heights. The ultimate rock-climbing window cleaning experience.

  • Scissor Lift: No more jumping jacks. It's time to elevate yourself to new heights, target precise stubborn patches of grime with pinpoint accuracy, perfect for busting dirt from those tricky, hard-to-reach corners and crevices.

  • Multi-stage Jobs: Just like that moment when you step back and realise you've missed a spot, some jobs reach new levels of dirt as you clean, revealing brand-new areas to tackle mid-wash. The trailer teases the dreaded Public Restroom, beware! Scrubbing the roof might just summon a secret toilet rising from the depths of dirt, exposing even grosser grime than ever before.

  • Surface Cleaner: Introducing the SwirlForce Surf Ace! This impressive new cleaning companion features a disc fitted with swirling nozzles, making it perfect for cleaning large flat areas swiftly and methodically. Parking lots, tiled floors? Completed it.

  • Home Base Customisation: Purchase and restore well-loved antique furniture, transforming it into freshly scrubbed and sparkling décor to be proudly displayed in your personal Home Base. Think less Antiques Roadshow, more PowerWash Interiors, where the real treasure is hiding under decades of muck.

  • Cat Companions: Ulysses and their lovable kittens Bubbles & Squeak, adopted in the original game, are now permanent residents in your Home Base, happily joining you on every cleaning job. And yes, you can pet that cat. In fact, they expect nothing less from their well-trained human assistant.
