As exciting as it is to get new games added to your PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass subscriptions, the time often comes that those beloved titles leave the service.
Sony has updated the ‘Last chance to play’ section of the PlayStation Store to show us which games will be leaving the service in July, giving players just under a month to play through some big titles before they leave the service on 15 July.
The remake of the PSP classic, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is the first notable title leaving the service. Subscribers will also lose access to Dying Light 2 ahead of Dying Light: The Beast which will launch later this year.
Also of note is Remnant II, the very popular multiplayer shooter which will leave the service soon. So, you’ve just under a month to assemble a squad to complete any remaining challenges.
The games departing PS Plus include some PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 titles, as well as Job Simulator for PSVR2.
Full list of titles leaving PS+ in July:
- Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion – PS5 & PS4
- Dying Light 2 – PS5 & PS4
- Job Simulator – PSVR2
- Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord – PS5 & PS4
- Remnant II – PS5
- Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong – PS5 & PS4
Though it’s a shame so many games are leaving the service, June is a big month for PlayStation Plus as Sony adds a big drop of games to the service for Days of Play. Notable games include NBA 2K25, Destiny 2: Final Shape and the reboot of Alone in the Dark.
What games are you hoping to complete before they leave the service on 15 July? Have you been playing some of the latest June additions?
