Date Everything – Unlocking the Attic Guide

In Date Everything!, unlocking the attic is an important step that opens up access to new dateables and several interactable storage boxes. With this Unlocking the Attic Guide, we will walk you through how to find the attic key and finally unlock that door.

Step 1 "” Locate the Locked Attic Door

First, head upstairs to find the attic door "” it's the only locked door on the upper floor:

Exit your bedroom.
Turn right and walk past the stairway.
The attic door is located at the very end of the hallway.

You can attempt to interact with the door using X or A, but it will remain locked for now.

Step 2 "” Speak with Dorian

Equip your Dateviators and use RT on the locked attic door. This will trigger a conversation with Dorian, who explains that you'll need to find a key to unlock the door.

Step 3 "” Find the Crawlspace Key

Next, head downstairs to your office and enter the water heater/storage room, where the crawlspace is located. (If you need help finding it, check out our Underworld Achievement Guide.)

Enter the crawlspace by moving the carpet, opening the trap door, and climbing down.
Inside the crawlspace, you'll spot a key on the ground.
Equip your Dateviators and use RT on the key to trigger a conversation with Keith, a new dateable.
After speaking with Keith, he'll transform back into the key and tag along in your pocket.

Step 4 "” Wait Until the Next Day

Even though you now have Keith, you won't be able to unlock the attic immediately since you've already interacted with the door that day.

Spend the rest of the day awakening other items if you still have charges.
Once you're finished, head to bed to advance to the next day.

Step 5 "” Unlock the Attic

The following morning, return to the attic door. Keith and Dorian will reunite, and Keith will unlock the door, granting you access to the attic.

What's Inside the Attic

Inside the attic, you'll find several new interactables, including:

Storage boxes
A dead plant
A window
A light switch
A ceiling grate
