It was a quiet week for Nintendo during the bedlam of the summer showcases. We had Summer Games Fest and the Future Games Show where we could have seen information from Nintendo about their 2025 lineup. However, it was radio silence from the "˜Big N' as they rode the media hype train of the release of their new hardware.
When the Switch 2 was revealed, hardware launch title Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza were the two key first party games for Switch 2's launch summer.
With Mario Kart World now available, it's over to Donkey Kong Bananza to have it's time in the spotlight. Bananza releases on 17 July 2025 and later this week we will have our first full deep dive in to Switch 2's big platforming adventure.
Tune in at 6 a.m. PT on June 18 for a livestreamed #DonkeyKongBananza Direct presentation, featuring roughly 15 minutes of information about the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 game. #NintendoDirect
