We finally have confirmation that a new Plague Tale game is in development and will be launching next year. The rats will return!
Aside from the entirely different Microsoft Flight Simulator games, Asobo have been quiet since the release of Plague Tale: Requiem, one of the most visually stunning games of the generation. Finally we know that a new entry to the series is in development and the rats will be chomping at our protagonist’s ankles once again .
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy will launch in 2026 for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
With today’s announcement we got our first look at the stunning new entry. In Resonance we will not play as Amicia for the first time in a Plague Tale title, instead we will play as fan favorite, Sophia.
In Resonance we will unravel ancient secrets in the Plague Tale world as well as confronting a mysterious mythical creature.
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy will release next year on for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC. The title will also be available day one in Xbox Game Pass.
