During today's Xbox Games Showcase, Skybound Entertainment officially revealed Invincible VS. It’s a new 3v3 tag-team fighting game based on the hit Invincible comic book series and Prime Video animated show. The comic series began in 2003 with its animated show beginning in 2021.
Set to launch in 2026, Invincible VS will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Play Anywhere. The debut trailer featured iconic characters like Mark Grayson (Invincible), Omni-Man, Atom Eve, Rex Splode, and Bulletproof. They are all rendered in fast-paced, brutal combat that mirrors the franchise's signature gore and intensity.
“Invincible VS is fun, fast, ferocious, and dripping with the same over-the-top brutality that you see in the comic book and on the show!” says series co-creator Robert Kirkman. Creator Robert Kirkman is no stranger to his works being adapted. Another of Kirkman’s popular works, The Walking Dead, has also seeing many adaptions over the years.
Invincible VS promises a mix of engaging content, including a single-player story mode and both competitive and casual multiplayer options. From the game play preview, it's clear that fans can expect the same blood-soaked, action-packed experience that made Invincible a fan-favorite.

Reprising their roles in Invincible VS are voice actors J.K. Simmons (Omni-Man) and Steven Yeun (Mark Grayson/Invincible. For series watchers, this adds even more authenticity to the experience. Notably, Omni-Man recently appeared in Mortal Kombat 1 as a DLC character, further cementing his place in fighting game history.
