Black Ops 7!!!! Well, we now know that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be the next CoD game released!
That’s right. At the Xbox Game Showcase 2025 that’s just wrapped up, Phil Spencer gave us “just one more thing” at the very end of the showcase.
We didn’t get any details on release dates, platforms or a look at Zombies or Multiplayer, but the trailer certainly piqued my interest. Check it out below:
I’m not going to lie, when it started I would never have thought it was a Call of Duty game. I honestly thought it might be some sort of action game in the vein of Quantum Break.
In the trailer, we see David Mason meeting with a defence CEO of some sort. Before long a butterfly enters the space and goes into a TV. Upon touching the TV, things get…weird and alternative world-y. Remnants of Inception too.
As the trailer gets weird, it has quite a dark, spooky vibe. At the end we get an ominous view of Menendez.
With us being half-way through the year, I can’t imagine we’ll be waiting long to hear more about Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
