Xbox Game Pass Wave 1 For June Unveiled Ahead Of Showcase

This week is a pretty big week for Xbox with the Xbox Showcase coming on Sunday June 8th. But for now, we can focus on the first round of games hitting Xbox Game Pass in June, and as has been the case all of 2025, the first batch for June doesn’t disappoint. As always this has been announced via the Xbox Wire blog.

Xbox Game Pass is going to see a whopping 4 day 1 releases into the service in the first half of the month. The Alters, Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, FBC: Firebreak and the Space Marine Master Crafted Edition are all hitting the service on their launch day.

Xbox Game Pass Wave 1 June

  • Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Editions (Cloud and Console) - June 5
  • Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine - Master Crafted Edition (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) - June 10
  • Barbie Project Friendship (Cloud, Console, and PC) - June 11
  • Kingdom: Two Crowns (PC) - June 11
  • EA Sports FC 25 (Cloud, Console, and PC) via EA Play - June 12
  • The Alters (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) - June 13
  • FBC: Firebreak (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) - June 17
  • Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time (Console and PC) - June 17
  • Lost in Random: The Eternal Die (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) - June 17

Which one is the highlight likely depends on what type of gamer you are, but there really is something for everyone here. For our money we will say The Alters is the most intriguing of the new additions for sure. Developed and published by 11 Bit Studios is a new survival IP. While it has typical survival elements as you build a base and crew on an alien planet, its hook really is how the game unfolds.

Your crew is actually made up of many versions of yourself. As you learn about the character and make moral choices, you create your Alters. Which version of yourself you decide to create next can directly affect your ability to complete your mission. It really is an interesting concept for a game and I for one can’t wait to give it a play. You can check back to Gamer Social Club next week for our review.

FBC: Firebreak is another can’t miss day 1 title for the service. The latest game from Remedy is a co-op shooter set within the Control universe. Play with up to 3 people to help clear the Federal Bureau of Control from a dark force determined to take control of the building and the world. Based on what we’ve seen the game definitely has a cool premise behind it and will be a blast to play.

Of course, for those who want a nostalgia kick there is the Space Marine Master Crafted Edition. This remake of Warhammer 40K: Space Marine is Titus’s first foray into gaming. With last years Space Marine 2 reintroducing us to the character and world it’s a perfect time to jump back into the Space Marine universe and fight for the emperor. The Master Crafted Edition is currently only going to be available on Xbox and PC.

Last but certainly not least is Lost In Random: The Eternal Die. The Eternal Die is a spin-off to 2021’s Lost In Random, with a new developer at the helm. In Stormteller Games version of Lost In Random you will play as Queen Aleksandra and her die-companion Fortune. In this roguelite you will wield powerful relics and abilities, and roll the dice to escape this nightmarish realm.

There's also a few games joining the service that aren't day 1 highlights by EA FC 25 and Baldurs Garte 1 & 2. Baldur's Gate actually showed up late lastnight so we knew this was coming.

Also as we learned earlier this week we know of the 8 games leaving Xbox Game Pass mid June. If you want to play any of these games or purchase them with the Game Pass discount the time is now.
