We’ve known Silent Hill F was coming in 2025 but haven’t known the release date until today’s Playstation State of Play. We also get a three minute look in to the gore’ific gameplay of Silent Hill F!
The gameplay shows us a look at the unique combat where there will be more of a heavy focus on melee. The game will be more action oriented while still focusing on the psychological horror and puzzles the franchise is known for.
Steam’s description of the game reads, “Hinako’s hometown is engulfed in fog, driving her to fight grotesque monsters and solve eerie puzzles. Uncover the disturbing beauty hidden in terror.”.
If you are worried that you may need to play previous entries before going in to Silent Hill F , don’t worry. Konami Producer, Motoi Okamoto stated on the Playstation Blog. The game is a “standalone spinoff, you can enjoy this game on its own as an introduction to the series. The game also contains Easter eggs for longtime fans.”
Silent Hill F is set to release on September 26th, and is available to pre-order starting today. Silent Hill F will also be enhanced for the Playstation 5 Pro.
Silent Hill F will be available September 26th for Xbox Series X/S, Playstation 5/pro, and PC. There is also an exclusive steelbook available to those who order on Amazon in the UK.
