Elden Ring Nightreign is off to a flyer. Following its release last Friday, the game went on to sell 2 million copies within its first day.
Now, 4 days after launch the game has rocketed to 3.5 million sales. Taking to X, the official Elden Ring account tweeted: “On the dawn of the fifth day, 3.5 million Nightfarers took up arms against the Night in #ELDENRING #NIGHTREIGN. We are ever grateful for your passion.” as well as the below celebratory image.

Though it’s an incredibly strong start for Nightreign, there have been complaints about the solo expedition difficulty, which received its first post-launch patch yesterday.
Nightreign DLC and Duos
In addition to the tweet celebrating the stellar milestone, the X Elden Ring account shared the below update on DLC and Duo Expeditions: “In addition to the DLC releasing later this year, new additions will be gradually implemented, including enhanced fights against existing Nightlords starting this month, as well as Duo Expeditions at a later date.”
But the Night is far from over.

Thank you for your support.
Duos is arguably the biggest requested feature for the game at present. For now, PC players have the option to download a Nightreign duos mod that was created and released within hours of the games launch.
Little is known about the DLC at this time. With 8 Nightfarers for now, it’s likely we will see more added with the DLC. And in true FromSoftware fashion, you can be confident there will be some tough as nails bosses added when the DLC arrives.
