Summer Game Fest has grown more and more with each passing year since E3 has ceased to exist. But even before E3 got canceled, big names stopped showing up for E3 such as Nintendo and PlayStation. Today Summer Game Fest announced on via their X account, that 60+ partners would be apart of Summer Games Fest this year.
We’re proud to welcome a record-setting 60+ partners for #SummerGameFest 2025, a global celebration of video games in Los Angeles this June.

There is a lot of great developers contributing to SGF, but the return of Playstation and Nintendo is something worthy of note taking. It begs the question, why the return? Could we see new game announcements from their studios or just deeper dives in to already announced games?
Some other notable attendees are CD Projekt Red and IO Interactive. With Project Orion being in Pre-development, could we see a teaser trailer or maybe more Witcher 4? With IO Interactive teasing 007 at the Nintendo Showcase in April, will we get to see gameplay?
