Showcase season is upon us, everybody! June has always been a big month in the gaming calendar, as it has become the focal point for much of the video game industry’s announcements. For the longest time, it was centred around a key event, like the now-defunct E3 or its new replacement, Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest. While this meant that gamers could look forward to a long weekend, possibly a week’s worth of news and excitement, it has ballooned in the last few years to take up the whole month and then some. One of these newer, smaller showcases is the Six One Indie Showcase May 2025, which took place yesterday.
The Six One Indie Showcase, hosted by the Six One Indie team, started in 2022 and is a continuation of the team’s mission to support Indie developers and their games. This year’s showcase featured over 40 games from around the world, from titles already out you may have missed to many future releases.

We at the GSC are big fans of Indie games and love what Six One Indie has been doing. With the surprise announcement of their own publishing arm, appropriately named Six One Publishing, the team are pouring everything they can into helping smaller game developers.
