UPDATE: Turns out there’s a fifth game leaving Game Pass at the end of May 2025. The PC only, Firework. Apologies, it didn’t show up in my Leaving Soon section, as you can see below.
Wooaaahh oohhhh we’re half-way there, woaahh ooh, more games are leaving Game Pass. The games leaving Game Pass at the end of May 2025 have been announced. The last announcement of games leaving the subscription service removed five titles, including Dune: Spice Wars, and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.
Of course, we’re not lacking for things to play, with the excellent DOOM: The Dark Ages recently released, as well as the likes of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
All games marked to leave will leave Xbox Game Pass on 31 May 2025.

The most notable departure, for me anyhow, is Remnant II, the third-person shooter action role-playing game. It was very well received when it was released in 2023. It sees you playing solo, or teaming up with your friends to save reality itself. Known for it’s challenging combat and epic boss fights, it’ll be a shame to see this one leave (though you can always buy it, of course).
We also see Humanity leave the service. I’ve not had a chance to play it myself, but I might try to get to it before it leaves. I’d not heard of Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengeance of the Slayer before, so I might give that a look too.
The small number of games is in stark contrast to the 22 titles leaving that are just about to leave PS Plus this month. Though, of course, these announcements are always varied and are likely down to the timings of when contracts are due to end, etc.
