It seems Sony’s dwindling live service efforts are continuing to struggle. Jade Raymond, the founder and lead of Haven Studios, has left the developer.
Raymond was leading the studio on its development of live service title, Fairgame$. The online shooter is a “competitive modern heist game” where you compete against other teams. It was revealed just under two years ago.
No official reason has been given for Raymond’s departure. Bloomberg reports that some developers were concerned about how Fairgame$ was viewed during a recent external test. Though yet to have a confirmed release date, it is reportedly being delayed into Spring 2026.
A PlayStation spokesperson stated:
“Jade Raymond has been an incredible partner and visionary force in founding Haven Studios. We are deeply grateful for her leadership and contributions, and we wish her all the best in her next chapter.”
It was confirmed by the spokesperson that Haven Studios would be co-led by Marie-Eve Danis and Pierre-François Sapinski, and that PlayStation is “committed to supporting Haven Studios and excited to continue the journey”.

It will be interesting to see what Raymond does next. She’s enjoys a storied career in gaming working on several Ubisoft titles, including Assassin’s Creed II, Watch Dogs and Splinter Cell: Blacklist. She was also, unfortunately, involved in the now-cancelled EA Star Wars ‘Project Ragtag’, which led to her founding Haven Studios in 2021.
With Sony’s last live service release, Concord, going so badly, what are your expectations of Fairgames$? Do you think Haven Studios will be able to realise the team’s vision without Raymond at the helm, and will the studio survive?
