The visual upgrades, which will drop on May 20th, 2025, will be available on Xbox Series Consoles, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games. On top of all that, owners of the original trilogy will not be dipping into their wallets for this as they will receive this upgrade for free.
GSC games stated in a press release this morning, “The iconic trilogy, comprising Shadow of Chornobyl (2007), Clear Sky (2008), and Call of Prypiat (2009), receives an overhaul with upgraded visuals, next-gen console optimizations, and expanded mod support.”
The upgrades on all platforms will include:
The visual upgrades coming to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Enhanced Edition Trilogy are:
- – Enhanced lighting with godrays, screen space reflections, and global illumination for a more immersive atmosphere.
- – Upscaled textures and detailed 3D models for NPCs, weapons, and environments.
- – Advanced shaders for water and wetness effects, paired with upgraded skyboxes for a more dynamic world.

As it stands for those wondering, it doesn’t appear that PlayStation 5 Pro will be getting anything PSSR-related, though that could always change.
