Blades of Fire Launching a Demo

In a statement made from their Twitter/X account Blades of Fire is launching demo on May 15th. The demo will feature the first few hours of the game Blades of Fire. Your save data and progress will carry over to the main game at launch. The Blades of Fire demo will be available on Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The demo releases one week before the full launch, May 22nd.

Blades of Fire is developed by the award-winning studio Mercury Steam and published by 505 Games. The game is an action-adventure game where players craft their own weapons and engage in combat with a variety of enemies. You play as Aran de Lira and are accompanied by Adso, who records your adventure and gives you helpful tips throughout your gameplay. There is plenty to explore and mysteries to solve in epic settings like castles and palaces. Blades of Fire also features over 50 different enemy types, which all have different armor and weapons. You’ll need to take down these different enemy types in order to get blueprints to unlock and forge a myriad of weapons to overcome all the game throws at you.

Blades of Fire is Mercury Steam’s first game since 2021, where they helped developed Metroid Dread for Nintendo Switch. Blades of Fire will release on May 22nd on Xbox Series consoles, PlayStation 5 and Epic Game Store/Windows.
