There are several types of collectibles to find throughout the spooky world of The Midnight Walk, from film reels and music records to dolls and shellphones. There are 19 collectibles to find in the game’s second chapter, titled “The Tale of the Loathsome Molgrim”. 1. Film Reel #2
The first collectible is located next to where you first meet your wandering home, Housy. Before or after dealing with your shambling abode, look to the right of it to find a round, red door in a rock.

Inside is the second Film Reel.

2. Shellphone #4
You’ll approach a raised ironwrought drawbridge blocking your path. The path forward is to the left.

The next collectible, the fourth Shellphone, is found out in the open on the right side of the path.

3. Music Record #4 (Grans)
After making your way through the stealth/chase sections, you’ll arrive on the other side of the raised drawbridge.

Next to the drawbridge is a tree stump with a telltale red door set into it. Inside is the fourth Music Record.

4. Shellphone #5
This collectible is easily missed as it’s hidden in the stealth section where you have to sneak past several Crawlers.

It can be found when dealing with the second Crawler. Hop in the wardrobe and let it wander passed you. Jump out and head to the left, and watch out for a small hole you can crawl into on the left. Inside is a Shellphone.

You can easily spot the hole when looking back across the fence when moving onto the next stealth section.

5. Film Reel #3
The next collectible is situated next to the Soulfisher, the fella sleeping by a campfire.


Look for a rock with a round, red door, it holds the third Film Reel.

6. Shellphone #6
Continue along the main path until you have your next visit from the Dark Itself.

To the left of where it appeared (and peered from) is the fifth Shellphone in a small hut.

7. Clay Doll #5 (The Headmaster)
After you get the chapter title to appear in the sky, and before you enter Nobodyville, you’ll find a group of talking heads sitting on stumps.


Opposite them, tucked away, is a tree stump with a door in it. Inside is the fifth Clay Doll.


8. Music Record #5 (Nobodyville)
This next collectible is hard to miss. Once you’ve gained entry to Nobodyville, walk up the main path.

On the right-hand side is a stack of boxes. The fifth Music Record is inside.

9. Shellphone #7
Continue on until you reach the council of heads. Take the path to the left across a bridge to a small hut with a guillotine in it.

The sixth Shellphone is just in the door.

10. Shellphone #8
After taking the Potboy-powered helicopter down beneath the mushroom canopy, walk down the wooden gangway.

Sneakily hidden on the right side is the seventh Shellphone.

11. Clay Doll #6 (The Old Man)
This next collectible is found in the middle of the swamp area, where you must avoid the Molgrim. There is a stack of boxes with a red door next to one of the burrows you hide in.

The sixth Clay Doll is waiting inside. Over halfway through this chapter’s collectibles!

12. Shellphone #9
Make your way to the dancing ritual area, encircled by one-eyed toad statues.

Hidden on the left side, amongst the squat statues, is the eighth Shellphone.

13. Music Record #6 (The Spark)
After dealing with the dancers and collecting the muguffin, you’ll cross a wooden bridge with a large violin on the left.


Look to the left after crossing to see a stack of boxes with a red door on a little island connected by another bridge. The next collectible, the sixth Music Record, is inside.

14. Shellphone #10
Continue forward across the next wooden gantry and follow the path up the hill. You’ll come to a pipe that Potboy can use to reach a furnace above.

Next to the pipe is the ninth Shellphone.
15. Film Reel #4
Have Potboy fire up the furnace to help you across the gap.

Another tree stump with a round, red door stands just before the helicopter device. It holds the fourth Film Reel.

16. Shellphone #11
Once you’ve finished up with the Molgrim and returned to Nobodyville, use the key to lower the drawbridge out of the town.

Follow the path, and keep an eye out for the tenth Shellphone. It’s camouflaged on the right side before the second bridge.

17. Clay Doll #7 (The Molgrim)
You will come back to the main road of the Midnight Walk.


On the other side of the road is a tree stump, which has the seventh Clay Doll.

18. Film Reel #5
The next two collectibles are easy. Follow the road, walking passed the March of the headless bodies.

Keep an eye out for a tree stump with a round, red door next to a Shellphone. Inside the tree stump is the fifth Film Reel.

19. Shellphone #12
The eleventh Shellphone is next to the aforementioned Film Reel.
