In Duskfade you play a character named Zirian, who is accompanied by his mechanical companion Cuckoo. Zirian is on an adventure to save his sister from an evil clock tower, that has cast an eternal night across the land. The developers designed Duskfade as a love letter to classic 3D action platformers. Taking place in a Clock-Punk world, the game has five major regions. Which range from ethereal forests, underwater realms, sunlit dunes and more.

In Duskfade, you wield a unique sword inspired by a clock hand. You can transform it into a massive pendulum or use it to cast powerful magical spells. The game’s fast and agile movement system gives you fluid control in combat and exploration. You use the chains of your sword as a hook to soar through the sky or move at incredible speeds across the rails all while getting a view of the beautiful landscapes.

After the success of Astro Bot last year and Psychonauts 2 in 2021, it’s good to see 3D platformers starting to make a bit of a comeback. Stay tuned for more Duskfade news as it becomes available and in the meantime – Duskfade is available to Wishlist on Steam right now.
