At Gamer Social Club we have been loving 33 Immortals since it came out in early access on Xbox and PC, calling it a "fantastic roguelike and well worth a try" in our early access review.

Now that the game has been available for several weeks, players have started to meta the game and take down bosses including the once-feared Lucifer with ease. Today, Thunder Lotus have released a hot fix for the game that will increase the difficulty for players, by making torture chambers and bosses more challenging; however standard enemies - Timeweaver, Malacchio and Elite Sguardo - will receive a slight nerf to be in line with the difficulty level of other smaller enemies.

Patch notes:
From the patch notes, here are the key changes players can expect:
Combat
- Spike traps in Inferno have had their cooldown periods reduced from 10 seconds to 2 seconds.
- The Wrath of God event The Fall of Searing Graces has had its area of impact increased.
- The Wrath of God event The Fall of Searing Graces will now fall more frequently.
Enemies
- Timeweaver will now be less likely to appear in Chambers during Purgatorio (total number present in Chambers has been decreased by two per Chamber).
- Malacchio and Elite Sguardo’s smaller projectiles will now disappear sooner after the initial projectile's explosion.
Bosses
We’ve seen a growing trend of players bypassing boss mechanics by dealing overwhelming DPS and defeating bosses, especially Lucifer, before they can properly fight back. We want boss battles to remain both challenging and rewarding.
- During Last Betrayal, Lucifer will now summon an additional three non-objective Elites to challenge players.
- The health on Lucifer’s stalagmites has been increased from 1200 to 6000.
- Lucifer’s Ice Shards will now deal 3 times more damage than before (was 10, is now 30).
- Lucifer’s total health has been increased by 20% (was 1.5 million, is now 1.8 million).
- Adam and Eve’s total health has been increased by 20% (was 1.5 million, is now 1.8 million).
Fixes
- Fixed an issue that allowed players to have more than three Daily Quests in game, which caused flow issues with the Daily Quest system.
- Fixed an issue where Cieco could become invincible, causing Chambers and Ascension Points to become unfinishable.
- Fixed an issue where Bestiary I Feat – Discover the Compendium Entries of 25 Monsters was not properly tracking progress.
Players will need to update the game to the latest version. The full patch notes can be found on the 33 Immortals website.
