Survival horror fans, the time draws near! Bloober Team, the Polish developers behind Layers of Fear, Observer, The Medium, and the critically acclaimed Silent Hill 2 Remake from 2024, will soon reveal details of their upcoming survival horror game, Cronos: The New Dawn.
In an announcement post published on their social media accounts, Bloober Team informed fans that they would be revealing details about the game soon, with a “special reveal” planned for April 16th.

The message was accompanied by a short clip of digital red text on a black screen, ending with the date “April 16, 2025.” It’s not much to go on, but the text in the clip is likely alluding to elements of Cronos: The New Dawn’s world and gameplay, with mentions of “time rifts” and “anchor synchronization.”
In Cronos: The New Dawn, you are the enigmatic Traveler traveling between a harrowing, monster-infested future – created after a cataclysmic event known as the Change – and 1980s Poland. The game draws inspiration from the likes of John Carpenter’s The Thing, 12 Monkeys, Dead Space, and even Dark Souls in terms of its challenge.
Cronos: The New Dawn details have been few and far between, with only the occasional concept art reveal to keep fans satiated. Still, it won’t be long before we know more about Bloober Team’s next game, and we here at the Gamer Social Club will be ready to report on it.
