What would you trade to play just one more gig? What if those devil horns you throw up at rock concerts allowed you to play for the devil themselves? That’s the situation the main character in upcoming metal-themed action-roguelike Devil Jam from the developers over at Rogueside. Developer and publisher Rogueside may best be known for their run and gun games such as Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & TEEF.
In Devil Jam, after signing a deal with the Devil, you’ll be playing your freshly tuned guitar to defeat the greatest metal singer of all time. This singer is so great, they named an entire metal genre after them. Fend off groupies, angry mobs, and other competing musicians on your way to the big show. Go up against Death and become the immortal musician you were born (and possibly died) to be.
Devil Jam blends hand drawn visuals with rhythmic combat as you defeat demons to survive the hellish landscape of well, hell. In this game, it isn’t just what you have on your person but where those items are that will also impact your game play. The Steam page also boasts “Over 4.93 quadrillion possible inventory combinations” and this does not include passives.

The developers at Rogueside aim for excellence as stated in their about us. Will Devil Jam live up to these high standards? If the art and music is any indication, there is a lot to look forward to in this rhythmic beauty. Perhaps Devil Jam will bring the best of Hades and Vampire Survivors in one rocking package.
Devil Jam is scheduled to launch in 2025 on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. Wishlists are now open on Steam. Will you be looking to add this new roguelike to your collection?
