It feels like it’s been a very long wait since the official reveal of the Nintendo Switch 2 back in January. Alongside that reveal Nintendo also announced a direct dedicated to the Switch 2. That direct is now only a day away, kicking off tomorrow at 6 AM PT/9 AM ET / 2 PM UK.

Ahead of the stream tomorrow Nintendo released some new details today on the new Nintendo Today app (announced and launched last week at their other direct focusing on Switch 1 games). First off is the confirmation that tomorrow’s direct will be approximately 60 minutes long. Second is that there is a series of follow up Treehouse live streams. One on April 3rd at 7 AM PT/10 AM ET / 3 PM UK and another on April 4th at the same time. In the past, Treehouse streams have been a little more casual, with more of a focus on developer interviews and in-depth gameplay showcases for highly anticipated titles.

The third and most intriguing detail on the app was the confirmation of the “C” button on the right Joy-Con. Over the past few months fans and leakers have been speculating the the button was a new “C” button, and it looks like they were right! What it does remains to be seen, but some people think it have something to do with the new mouse like functionality that seems to be being added to the Joy-Cons. In the reveal trailer both Joy-Cons are seen side on sliding across the ground, and in February Forbes reported on a new patent filed by Nintendo regarding something that looked like a “mouse mode”.

Whatever the “C” button ends up being though – we don’t have long to wait to find out! What are you most excited for in the Direct tomorrow? Let us know in the comments!
