Assassin’s Creed Shadows Patch 1.0.1 Released

Following Assassin’s Creed Shadows fantastic commercial launch last week, Ubisoft are straight out of the gates with an update to ensure players get the best experience they can.

Taking to Reddit to post patch notes, Ubisoft announced updates to stability and photomode.

Bug fixes and improvements

The patch which launches today, March 25 2025, addresses the following issues:

  • Stabilization – Fixed some global issues 
  • [PS5] Fixed a Photo mode issue that could cause a crash when fetching photos to display on the world map. 
  • [PC] Fixed a Photo mode issue that could cause a crash when taking a photo. 

Patch size

Whilst not large patches, the patch size varies in size depending on platform:

  • Xbox Series X|S: 8.88 GB  
  • PlayStation®5: 1.41 GB 
  • PC: 7.03 GB 
  • MAC: 9 GB 

Players are encouraged to visit the AC Shadows Bug reporter to report any further issues they're facing with the game.
