Unlock the “Target Practice” achievement / trophy in Atomfall.

Atomfall is the latest, and newest game from the developers of Sniper Elite and Zombie Army, Rebellion. Their newest title is something of a first-person survival mystery game, where you must figure out what’s really going on in the Quarantine Zone in Windscale.

You must unravel the mystery, escape the Quarantine Zone and try to survive, and there’s plenty of wonderful ways to do that in the game that will earn you tasty achievements / trophies (if you’re so inclined).

“Target Practice” Achievement / Trophy

The “Target Practice” achievement / trophy tasks you with killing six enemies with the MK.VI Revolver without reloading. This means you can’t miss, and must six kills in round of ammunition.

So you need to make sure you’ve got at least six rounds of pistol ammo. If you’ve been scavenging and looting bodies as you go, this shouldn’t be a problem. Then you just need to find at least six enemies that are together. I suppose as long as you don’t reload your gun, you can do six solo enemies. Though I haven’t tested that.

I did this just past the ‘Outlaw Cave’ not far from the beginning. You’ll come to a small stone house, that has a tripwire in the doorway, then an opening with other buildings and at least seven or eight enemies.

Make sure your pistol is fully loaded and aim for the head. Headshots should take out your enemies whatever difficulty you’re on, but you can drop it down if you want to make sure you don’t get killed while aiming.

I’d advise making a save just before you start going for the achievement, then if you miss (I did a couple of times), you can reload and go again. I would recommend going for the guy with the cricket bat first, him getting up close threw my aim a couple of times.
