Slime Heroes Guide: Element Gem Locations

One of the highlights of Slime Heroes, the slimy Souls-lite, is its magic system. The way you can mix-and-match your spells to create new, stronger ones is a lot of fun. You can blend two spells, which you earn from beating enemies, and attach an elemental effect, which you find out in the world as Element Gems.

Each gem type can be foud in several locations, but this guide will lead you to one for each. If you are lucky, you may find some of these in other places as you explore!

So let’s not waste anymore time! Here is our guide to find all the Element Gems in Slime Heroes!

Fire

Enemy takes fire damage over time.

Start from the FTP (fast travel point) before the Fairy Grove biome boss fight and head left. You’ll find a large purple block is, well, blocking your path. Use the gust spell to push it to the left into the water.

Just across the water using the block and continue left.

Once you reach the Boss dungeon head down and under a large root to find a bunch of enemies huddled near the Fire Gem!

Ice

Enemies take ice damage and are slowed for a short time.

Starting from the first FTP in the Fire Mountain biome, head down and to the left, crossing over the lava river.

Continue to the left until you can’t anymore, crossing in front of a natural arena. head to the back of the area.

Climb up the outcrops of rock in the lava waterfall to find the Ice Element Gem.

Life Drain

Receive a % of damage dealt as health.

Speed Boost

Increases movement speed for a short time after casting spell.

Start from the first FTP in the Fungal Caves biome, and head up and to the right like you are heading for the nearby dungeon. You need to equip the breath spell with the ice element to blow cold breath which lets you freeze water to walk on.

There is a large body of water to the right of the dungeon. Freeze the water and cross it to find the Speed Boost Element Gem on the other side.

Casting Speed

Increases spell cast speed.

This one is easy, as it is very close to the FTP just below the blizzard area in the Snowy Tundra biome. Head down through a gap in the rocks and go to the left where there are some trees.

Jump acorss the water to another small patch of ground to grab the Casting Speed Element Gem.

Oil

Makes enemies slippery and easier to push.

Start from the FT point at the bottom of the Snowy Tundra biome and head North, dropping down the small ledge and turning right around the rocks.

Cast the decoy spell to leave a decoy on the switch, lifting the ice block out of the water. Use the hookshot spell on the anchor point on the other side to cross the water, then climb the ice block onto higher ground.

Use the hookshot spell again to land on the moving platform, and ride it across to the other end where the Oil Element Gem awaits.

Energy Steal

A % of damage dealt returns as energy.

From the FTP before the boss of the Fungal Caves biome go left and jump on the large blue, bouncy mushrooms. Bounce North and get as high as you can.

On the tall mesa of rock is the Energy Steal Element Gem!

Charm

Affected enemies attack other enemies for a short time.

Start at the Northern most FTP in the Snowy Tundra biome and go left passed the giant stone door to the boss.

Tucked behind some ruins is the Charm Element Gem, ready for the taking!

Poison

Inflict enemies with poison damage.

Begin at the lowest FTP in the Misty Swamp biome and go North over the leaves and continue Northwards.

Once you reach some spectral tree stumps you are close. Climb up and keep your eys peeled for the Poison Element Gem

Lightning

Inflict enemies with lightning damage.

Follow the same path you took to reach the Poion Element Gem we just found and head through the tree roots.

Equip the roll spell and push the cube onto the switch by jumping on the spectral tree stumps.

Jump to the North and you’ll find the Lightning Element Gem behind a large tree root.

Health Convert

Uses health for spells instead of energy.

Start from the middle FTP in the Fire Mountain biome and head to the left. You’ll find the Spiker Village which will unlock the “Crystalline Pools” achievement the first time you visit.

Head to the back and climb up to reach the higher level. It seemed easier to do on the right hand side of the settlement. Once up head to the left and you’ll spot the Health Convert Element Gem.
