Developer Teyon has today announced that 2023's well received RoboCop: Rogue City will be getting a standalone follow up this summer with RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business. The new title will launch on PC, Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 in Q3 2025.

The new standalone entry gives players the aim of reaching the top of Old Detroit’s Omni Tower which has been taken over by mercenaries. Players will need to battle through challenging floors of drones, turrets and other elite troops to reach the pinnacle. There will be new weapons including the Cryo Cannon, "devastating" finishing moves and more. The game will also allow players to experience some of the game as Alex Murphy, RoboCop's former self.
Taken from the Steam page for the newly announced title:
Following RoboCop’s decisive victory over Detroit’s gangs, a new chapter unfolds in this standalone extension set after the events of RoboCop: Rogue City.
The New Guy in Town has been defeated, but the streets are still riddled with crime. A spark of hope comes from OCP's latest project: OmniTower - a massive housing complex designed especially to provide for the needs of the residents of Old Detroit.
But when a group of highly trained mercenaries armed with cutting-edge weapons takes control of the building and turns it into their deadly fortress, RoboCop must take action and put a stop to their plans to undermine law and order.

RoboCop: Rogue City's launch in 2023 surprised many with its quality with the current Metacritic user score sitting at 81. Today's surprise announcement will likely leave players hungry for a second outing in Detroit.
